Steven W. Piper started the company in 1998 out of a yard on the east side of Celina, Ohio. The first trucks moved general freight and scrap up the I-75 corridor to the steel mills. We're still on that corridor — just with forty-four more trucks.
The Pipers go back further than the LLC. Ron Piper was hauling in Mercer County before Steve was old enough to drive. That kind of three-generation continuity isn't something you put on a brochure — it's the reason this company still has the same dispatcher answering the phone after twenty-seven years.
We're not the biggest carrier in Ohio. We're not trying to be. We're the one that grain elevators, scrap yards, and mid-size manufacturers across the Midwest know by name, by phone number, and by the drivers they've been seeing for a decade.
